Unpopular but not unused, the Passivezon finds her skills exclusively in the “Passive and Magic” skill tree. The base frame for the Hybridazon build, a Passivezon is the most flexible of Amazon builds in terms of skills and equipment.
Using passive skills like Penetrate to raise her Attack Rating and Pierce to hit multiple enemies with a single missile. The Passivezon is a jack-of-all-trades because she isn’t limited to only one of the weapons available to her class. Her passive skills effect any of the Amazon’s specialty weapons, so whatever is the best available should be used.
A Passivezon benefits heavily from bonus effect identifiers on items, like Deadly Strike and Open Wounds.
Why take another Crit skill if it doesn’t stack?
The percentages might not stack, but the chances do. This means you’ll have double the chances to explode that leaping demon spawn.
Passivezon Skills
This build takes at least one point in each “Passive and Magic” skills in the tree. She maxes Valkyrie first, as with other Amazon builds, she’s very reliant on a tank. Points in Decoy never hurt because they give her Valkyrie extra health.
Penetrate instead of Pierce is maxed after, and avoidance skills (Avoid/Dodge/Evade). Some opt for maxing Avoid and Evade only, since they view missile damage as the only real threat to a Passivezon.
Like other builds, items with identifiers adding levels to specific skills add to damage output.
Most players rely on Inner Sight to buff their Passivezon’s damage. Others use extra levels in Critical Strike. Both are effective, but depend on the player’s preference.
Passivezon Attribute Distribution
Strength until the Passivezon can equip the items dependent on her play style.
Dexterity is your first priority if your Passivezon isn’t a tank. Dump points here to take advantage of her build’s synergy.
Energy is kept at base levels since a Passivezon uses her abilities so infrequently.
Vitality can also be your first or second priority if your build is on the tankier side.
Remember a Passivezon is the most versatile of the Amazon builds. Point distribution in skills and attributes is dependent on your play style.
Mercenary
As always an Act 2, desert mercenary is the best teammate for any Amazon. Their auras like “Holy Freeze” grants CC or “Might” for extra DPS are the best for this build.
